CSF11 series soil moisture sensor is a dielectric sensor based on the principle of frequency domain reflection FDR. By measuring the change of capacitance on the sensor at 100MHz frequency, the dielectric constant of the inserted medium is measured. Since the dielectric constant of water is very high (80), the soil is (3-10). Therefore, when the moisture content in the soil changes, the dielectric constant of the soil also changes greatly. This series of soil moisture sensor circuit reduces the influence of temperature change on measurement. Using digital technology and durable materials, the measurement accuracy is high and the cost is low.
