Function Description:
The flashing Christmas tree circuit is mainly composed of a multivibrator circuit formed by three transistors. D19 is a multicolor LED that can emit seven colors of light after power-on. This DIY project has a high success rate and great educational fun, making it perfect for electronics enthusiasts to practice and learn.
This kit contains 3 printed circuit boards (PCBs). During installation, pay attention to the insertion direction of the LEDs and transistors. The LED colors can be customized according to your preference. After inserting the LEDs, leave about 6 mm of lead length and bend them parallel to the circuit board. Mind the soldering time to prevent the LEDs from being damaged by overheating.
Note that D19 on the JC162 board should be soldered last. After soldering the components onto the JC161 and JC162 boards respectively, cross-insert them correctly into a 3D structure, then insert the assembly into the baseboard. When inserting, make sure the power polarities marked on the JC161/JC162 boards align with those on the baseboard. Verify the orientation before soldering them in place.
After assembly, double-check all connections before powering on for testing. This circuit supports two power supply modes: it can be powered by 3 AA batteries, or via a dedicated USB cable (optional) connected to a 5V phone charger.
