The brushless motor driver mainly replaces the mechanical commutation of the traditional brush motor by electronic commutation. It uses sensors to monitor the position of the motor rotor in real time, according to the rotor position information, the circuit inside the driver will apply current to the various windings of the motor in a specific order, thus generating a rotating magnetic field to drive the rotor to continue to rotate. This electronic commutation method not only avoids the problems of brush wear and electric spark caused by mechanical commutation, but also greatly improves the efficiency and reliability of the motor.

Motor wiring is shown in the following figure:
① Motor working power supply voltage positive (VCC). ② Motor power supply voltage negative (GND).
③ speed feedback signal, pulse function output (FG). ④ Motor direction control input signal (F//R).
⑤PWM modulation signal is used for motor speed regulation (PWM). ⑥ Motor brake signal input control (BRA).
⑦ Motor W phase Hall signal output (H3). ⑧ Motor V phase Hall signal output (H2).
⑨ Motor U-phase Hall signal output (H1). ⑩ Hall input voltage negative (GND).

Second, the driver lead function description
The specific functions are as follows:
① The power supply voltage of the motor is positive (VCC), and the voltage range is DC8V-26V.
② Motor working power supply voltage negative (GND).
③ Speed feedback signal, output pulse signal (single FG, for external equipment to detect motor speed, two polar magnetic ring motor to output two square wave pulse after one turn), output voltage range 0-5V(controller internal pull up 5V), speed =FG*60/ motor pole number.
④ Motor direction control input signal (F/R), input voltage range 0-5V(controller internal pull up 5V), in general, high level motor reversal (CCW), low level motor forward (CW), special cases can also be high level motor forward (CW), low level motor reversal (CCW), the specific situation is determined by the actual motor.
⑤PWM modulation signal is used for motor speed regulation (PWM). Speed regulation through PWM mode, less than 0.5V motor running at full speed, higher than 4.5V motor stop.
⑥ Motor brake signal input control (BRA), input voltage range 0-5V(controller internal pull up 5V), high level motor running, low level motor stop. To ensure job stability. Recommended low level ≤0.5V, high level ≥2.7V.

Note :③, ④, ⑤, ⑥ four pins, can not input a voltage higher than 5V, otherwise it will damage the drive.
