The DDSM series of sinusoidal brushless torque motors (also known as DD motors or sinusoidal brushless DC direct drive motors) come in a variety of thicknesses and torque ranges. They are easy to install, have excellent performance, and a long service life. We can provide customers with proprietary customized solutions. Unlike brushed DC torque motors, the DDSM series sinusoidal brushless torque motors have no brush wear, no commutation spark interference, and have greatly improved reliability and service life. This series of products is applicable to various high-precision platforms, optical turrets, tank turrets, unmanned aerial vehicle pods, medical equipment, underwater robots, high-precision CNC machine tools, industrial robot systems, intelligent agriculture, factory automation and other occasions.

Functional Features

This structural design of the motor has the following prominent advantages:

Assembly drawing

Assembly schematic diagram of the split-type direct drive motor:

1. Install the rotating shaft on the equipment casing, and the main shaft and the equipment casing are supported by bearings.
2. Install the stator on the stop mouth of the equipment shell and press it tightly with the stator pressure ring.
3. Insert the rotor into the inner hole of the stator, and at the same time, take care to protect the stator. Connect and fix the rotor to the shaft with connecting bolts.
4. Rotate the rotor by hand to check if it rotates smoothly and if there is any scraping. Under normal conditions, the motor rotor should rotate smoothly. If there is abnormal resistance, please check if there is any sweeping phenomenon.
5. In harsh environments, a casing should be designed for the motor to provide protection.

All models can be customized according to the customer's requirements for voltage, torque and speed indicators.
