Product Description
The brake of elevator traction machine is the key component of elevator safety system. It mainly plays the role of braking the traction wheel, so that the elevator car can stop and keep in a certain position. The principle is based on electromagnetic force and friction. When the elevator is in normal operation, the electromagnetic coil of the brake is energized, generating electromagnetic force, overcoming the pressure of the spring, so that the brake shoe and the brake wheel (traction wheel) are separated, and the elevator can operate normally. When the elevator needs to stop, the electromagnetic coil is powered off, the spring force pushes the brake shoe to contact the brake wheel, and the elevator stops running through friction.
