The loader track is the key part of the loader travel device, which is mainly composed of the track chain, track pin, rubber shoe (or metal shoe teeth) and other components. The track chain is the basic skeleton of the track, and a number of chain links are connected through the track pin to form a circular track. The ring structure can be wrapped around the driving wheel, guide wheel and support wheel of the loader to realize the movement of the loader. From the appearance, the loader track is usually relatively thick to adapt to the weight of the loader and the working environment. Its width can effectively distribute the weight of the loader, reduce the pressure on the ground per unit area, and prevent the loader from sinking.

- Wear resistance: Due to the continuous friction between the track and the ground and various obstacles during operation, its chain and shoe (or shoe teeth) need to have good wear resistance. The surface of the link is usually treated with special heat treatment or coating to improve its wear resistance. The rubber shoe (if it is a rubber track) is made of high wear-resistant rubber material, and the metal shoe teeth will also use wear-resistant alloys.
- Corrosion resistance: loaders sometimes work in some harsh environments, such as seaside, chemical sites, etc., and the tracks are vulnerable to corrosion. Therefore, the track material also needs to have a certain corrosion resistance. For the link parts, anti-corrosion measures such as galvanizing and painting may be adopted; For rubber shoes, chemical resistant rubber formulations are used.
