The AgileLight - 400A digital closed loop single-axis fiber optic gyroscope is based on the Sagnac effect to measure the angular velocity. When the circular optical path rotates in inertial space, the light propagating clockwise and counterclockwise will produce optical path difference, and the angular velocity information can be obtained by detecting this optical path difference.

It uses the optical fiber as the optical path, by transmitting the optical signal in the optical fiber ring to achieve high precision measurement. The digital closed loop technology is the core of the system, and the feedback control loop can stabilize the system output, which can effectively reduce the influence of interference factors on the measurement results.
