Platform Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions for Hollow Rotating Platform

Reserve the motor outlet on the mounting plate of the hollow rotating platform to prevent the motor from interfering with the mounting plate.

Install 2 locating pin holes to position the hollow rotating platform, and then tighten the fastening bolts diagonally.


Install the load on the hollow rotating platform

The locating pin holes of the 2 loads on the hollow rotating platform are used to confirm the position of the load.

Install the load on the mounting surface of the hollow rotating platform and use the 6 threaded holes on the top to complete the tightening of the load.

Installation Precautions

Before installation, read the following installation precautions and install according to the following conditions:

1. Indoors (areas not directly exposed to sunlight)

2. Areas without heat radiation

3. Working environment (temperature: 0~+50°℃/humidity: less than 85%)

4. Temperature below the origin sensor: 0+40°C

5. No flammable and explosive acidic gas

6. Places that can block dust, oil and splashing water

7. Places that are not subject to direct vibration and excessive impact

Selection calculation

1. Calculate the moment of inertia of the transport (load moment of inertia)

The moment of inertia of the transported object should be less than 30 times the moment of inertia of the transmission device.

2. Calculate the acceleration torque using the following formula

3. Calculate the required torque

The required torque is calculated by multiplying the sum of the load torque caused by the friction torque and the acceleration torque caused by the inertia by the safety factor. 

Required torque T=(load torque (N.m)+ acceleration torque (N.m))×S

The safety factor S is greater than 1.5.

4. The torque T required for the selected motor must be within the speed-torque specification range.

5. Calculation of axial load and static moment

When applying a load to the hollow rotating platform as shown in the figure below, make sure that the axial load and static moment calculated using the following calculation formula are within the specified range.

Application

Industrial automation: In the assembly of electronic products, the circuit board is accurately rotated to different angles for welding, patching and other operations; when packaging food, it is installed under the turntable mechanism to accurately control the rotation and positioning of the packaging box, and cooperate with the filling and sealing equipment to achieve high-speed and high-precision packaging.

Robot technology: used in the joints of the robot arm to achieve flexible rotation with multiple degrees of freedom, so that the robot can complete complex actions such as grabbing and placing objects; provide passage space for cables, trachea and other pipelines to avoid interference of line entanglement on the robot movement.

CNC machine tools: As the rotating worktable of the machine tool, it realizes the precise processing of workpieces at multiple angles during milling, drilling and other processing processes; in the tool exchange system, it realizes the rapid rotation and positioning of the tool library to reduce the auxiliary processing time.

Detection and measurement equipment: In optical detection equipment, it carries the objects to be detected for multi-angle rotation, which is convenient for all-round detection of appearance, size and other parameters; in the three-coordinate measuring instrument, it assists the rotation of the workpiece to achieve precise measurement in different directions.

Medical equipment: In medical imaging equipment such as CT machines and MRI equipment, it drives the detection components or patient platforms to rotate smoothly to obtain all-round imaging data; in rehabilitation training equipment, it simulates the natural movement of human joints to help patients perform effective rehabilitation exercises.

Product design and development: During the design phase of the central control rotary platform, a team of professional engineers gathered together to use advanced computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation analysis software to perform fine simulation and optimization of core parts such as product structure, power transmission, and control logic to ensure the reliability and stability of product performance from the source. Raw material procurement: Strictly screen raw material suppliers to establish long-term, stable and high-standard cooperative relationships. For each batch of raw materials, strict quality inspections are carried out, covering the composition analysis of metal materials, mechanical performance testing, electrical parameter testing of electronic components, reliability testing, etc. Only raw materials that meet or exceed industry standards will be allowed to be put into production to ensure the basic quality of the product.


Production process control: The production workshop operates in accordance with a strict quality management system, introduces automated production equipment and high-precision testing instruments, and realizes the standardization and refinement of the production process. At each key node of production, quality inspection points are set up to conduct real-time sampling and full inspections of semi-finished products, including component processing accuracy inspection, assembly quality inspection, and initial electrical performance testing. For quality problems that occur during the production process, the traceability and rectification mechanism is immediately activated to ensure that the problematic products do not flow into the next link.


Finished product inspection: Each central control rotary platform must undergo a comprehensive and rigorous finished product inspection process before leaving the factory. Inspection items include but are not limited to no-load operation test, full-load operation test, positioning accuracy test, repeated positioning accuracy test, noise and vibration test, electrical safety performance test, etc. Only equipment whose indicators fully meet the product quality standards will be labeled as qualified and allowed to leave the factory.
