Operating Limits
Observe the specified voltage and current ranges; operate the motor within the limits defined in this standard to avoid compromising performance or service life.
Handling
Handle with care; whenever possible, hold the motor by its housing.
Wiring
Brushed motors: Connect the red lead to the positive terminal and the black lead to the negative terminal; reversing the connections will reverse the direction of rotation.
Brushless motors: Follow the wiring diagram strictly; reversing the power supply connections will damage the motor.
Overload
Operate within the load range specified by the company; do not allow the motor to stall or run in a near-stall condition for extended periods, as this will cause the motor to burn out.
Storage
Storage temperature: 0°C–40°C; storage humidity: 15%–90% RH; avoid environments with high temperatures, high humidity, or corrosive gases.
Operating temperature: 0°C–50°C.
